NO THEY ARE NOT...
But they don't swell like pearwood!
I like stainless steel...
Or plated brass.
Plastic combs are ok, they are fairly stable.
But decent stainless combs are MORE stable... and thus faster.
I guess JP gets through lots of harps. .. So why buy "custom" mouth organs
when you are going to give them away after the gig?
